What is circumcision?

Circumcision is a surgery which removes the foreskin of the penis. Male circumcision is a religious commandment in Judaism as well as in Islam. They will take the surgery once after birth. About 30% of men in the world has taken the surgery, according to researches by World Health Organization.

Circumcision and Sex Performance

There is always question on whether circumcision and sex life. In fact, there are various views on this question. There are researches showing that the penis of a circumcised man is more sensitive than the one without circumcision. However, there are also researches which shows the opposite.

On the other hand, in terms of ejaculation, there are research which support the notion that circumcision will have good effect on sex performance. A research by Temucin Senkul (a urologist) shows that men circumcision will have a longer ejaculation. However, this will also imply that the surgery may make the penis less sensitive.

As result, there is still no concrete conclusion on the connection between circumcision and sex performance. It is highly probable that the effect of the surgery on sex life is different from individual to individual.

Circumcision and Penis Size

There are also people who ask if circumcision can make a bigger penis. As discussed above, circumcision is just a surgery which removes foreskin of the penis and there should be nothing to do with the size of the penis. However, since the skin is removed, it may LOOK BIGGER visually. This is because you cannot see the head of the penis before the surgery and you will be able to see it directly after the surgery. There should be no connection between penis enlargement and circumcision!

Although there is no connection between circumcision and penis size, what it can be sure is that the surgery can help to lessen the possibility of HIV infection through through heterosexual sex (World Health Organization)!
