Penis size in modern time has been given more and more attention than it deserves. Although majority of females prefer larger penises, there are those however who prefer average-size penises. Media has been the reason for today’s female demand of the bigger penis size promoting large penises as the ideal size. Men tend to be more conscious about their penises more and more and men who also have issues with weight have a problem especially in this area.

Some people who have gained a lot of excess weight often remark a noticeable reduction of their penis size. Most complain of a decreased length more than girth of the penis. They may think that the excess weight is the main culprit for the penis size reduction. Men who lost a lot of weight also report that they have a noticeable increase in penis length. The truth however, is that there is no correlation between weight and penis size.

Those in the medical profession gives the explanation that gaining weight does not really reduce the size of the penis, it does however, gives it the appearance that it has become smaller. This is because the penis is a hollow shaft of tissue. It does not contain fat or fatty cells that can be directly affected by an increase or decrease in body weight. Fat at the most, can give an illusion of having a smaller penis because of body proportion.

The fat that accumulates in a man’s stomach area may hide the penis and fat can also gather at the base of the penis hiding most of the penis, making it look smaller. Losing weight produces the opposite result making the penis look bigger. A firmer and larger erection can only mean a healthier body. It does not mean that the penis has grown. One has to remember that a man’s penis growth is at maximum during puberty and becomes less and less after. It can start at 6 cm (2.4 inches) during puberty and can grow into its full adult penis size five years after. Another thing to consider is that a man’s penis appears smaller as he ages because the skin becomes loose and less elastic. It can appear shriveled and smaller.

It is still advisable to lose the excess weight not only for health reasons but also to give maximum fuller appearance to your penis. This will make your sex-life more exciting and fulfilling.
